Licensed termite and pest control operators, state by state

8,599 business-level licence records across 4 states: California 3,747 (snapshot 1 Aug 2026), Texas 3,674 (snapshot 24 Aug 2026), Virginia 715 (snapshot 27 Aug 2026), Louisiana 463 (snapshot 20 Apr 2026). 4,330 of them have a full operator file; the rest are listed as rows on the metro or county page because the regulator record lacks an address or the record could not be placed on the map.

The flag reproduces the regulator's own business category for wood-destroying organism work: Virginia category 7-B, Texas category T and California's Branch 3 termite specialty. 5,373 of the 8,136 records in those three states (66%) carry it. Louisiana's place-of-business permit does not record a termite category (the LP3 endorsement sits on the individual licensee), so Louisiana rows show it as not recorded rather than as no.

Neither. Each record shows the status the regulator reported on a dated snapshot (Virginia 27 Aug 2026, California 1 Aug 2026, Texas 24 Aug 2026, Louisiana 20 Apr 2026). Licences lapse, renew and change hands between snapshots, so verify the number on the regulator's own search before paying anything. Nothing here is a recommendation and no operator pays to be listed.

The Texas Department of Agriculture publishes the commercial business licence list with legal name, DBA, categories, county and dates but no street address or phone number. 3,674 Texas businesses are therefore listed as rows on 125 county pages. A Public Information Act request for the address and phone columns was staged on 28 Aug 2026; operator files will be added if TDA supplies them.

North Carolina: NCDA&CS Pest Control Licensee records name the licensee person; BusinessName/EntityName are null on every record. Nothing published until company names are obtained (records request staged 28 Aug 2026). South Carolina: Excluded by decision 28 Aug 2026 (individual-level register, no addresses, solicitation restriction). Florida: Public records request staged 28 Aug 2026 (FDACS publishes a Power BI report only). Georgia: Register sits behind a robots-disallowed vendor host; export requested from GDA (28 Aug 2026). Arizona: Business search is bot-protected; public records request staged 28 Aug 2026. Alabama: Public search lists individual applicators only; company list requested (28 Aug 2026). Mississippi: No public search exists; company list requested (28 Aug 2026). Tennessee: Charter register is robots-disallowed; export requested from TDA (28 Aug 2026). Coverage is added only from a regulator's own business-level record, never from scraped directories or inferred company names.

Search by the licence or permit number shown on the operator file, then check the expiry date, the categories held and, in Louisiana, which named technician holds the termite endorsement.
