and what claiming your file does, in plain English.
termitetreatmentprice.com publishes a register file for every licensed structural pest-control business we can locate in eight state registers: 14,436 files across 8 states in the snapshot dated 11 Sep 2026. The file exists whether or not anyone at the company ever visits it, because a state licence register is a public record and this site is a directory of it alongside what treatment costs.
We did not ask operators for the data and we did not buy it. Every fact on a file comes from the state regulator's own register, with the source and snapshot date on the page. Nothing on a file is a review, a ranking or a recommendation, no company can buy a position on this site, and nothing here is endorsed by any regulator. South Carolina's register forbids commercial solicitation, so this site does not publish South Carolina operators at all.
What claiming gives you
Claiming is free, and it stays free for the things a homeowner needs: your website, your phone, whether you offer a free inspection, whether you are taking work, and every correction. The Enhanced tier at $99 a year is the part where the company describes itself, marked below. Everything you add appears in its own section, dated and labelled as supplied by the company, below the register extract and never mixed into it.

Free text is checked before it is published: no ranking or endorsement claims (“best”, “leading”, “award-winning”), nothing implying regulator endorsement, no price figures in free text, no links in free text, and nothing untrue or misleading. A first edit is read by a person before it goes into a build. Treatment prices stay off the editable list: this site publishes sourced cost ranges and links to what you publish yourself.
What claiming never changes
The register record: business and legal name, licence number, type and status, issue, expiry and insurance dates, categories, the termite or wood-destroying-organism flag, the regulator, the address, county and metro, and the snapshot date. Only your regulator can change those. If one is wrong, correct it at source and this site follows at the next refresh. Claiming also does not move your company in any list, and there is no position here to buy.
How we check it is really you
It depends on what your state publishes. Louisiana publishes an operator email, so the one-time link goes to that address and nowhere else. Arizona publishes the company website, so you name a mailbox at that exact domain. The other registers publish neither, so email [email protected] from an address at the company's own domain quoting your licence number, and a person checks it against the register before sending the link.
We keep the verified address while the claim is active, to sign you in and to send notices about the file, and for 90 days after you release it. We never publish operator email addresses on this site, and we never approach operators using these registers.
The stamp, and what it is not
A claimed file shows “Updated by this company”. That means someone at the company keeps the company-supplied parts current. It is not a verification of workmanship, an approval, an accreditation or an endorsement by this site or by any regulator, and it says nothing the register does not already say about your licence.
